St Margarets Church
Place Services was commissioned by English Heritage to undertake a historic environment characterisation project for the London borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The project comprised an area based assessment of the historic environment of the whole Borough, using historic environment record data and cartographic sources, and detailed use of Google Street View to assess all buildings and areas. This resulted in GIS layers of broad character areas with associated character descriptions that were then used to enhance the Greater London Historic Environment Record.
