Place Services is delivering the development phase of an HLF funded Townscape Heritage project in Boston, Lincs. Working with Boston Borough Council, and Heritage Lincolnshire, we are progressing their plans for a full Townscape Heritage scheme, which it is hoped will pave the way for £1 million of future funding, for the town's historic centre, from HLF and other partners. The project aims to target investment along the eastern side of Boston's Market Place, enabling essential repairs and enhancements, including the reinstatement of traditional shopfronts, and improvements to the public realm. Our Associate Paul Skeet, who has considerable experience working on Townscape Heritage Initiatives, will be working with local businesses, architects and other stakeholders in the town to identify where future grant funding needs to be targeted.
