John is a chartered town planner with over 20 years’ experience, working for central and local government, and as a consultant.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, including joint plans; all aspects of local plan preparation, including policy development, supporting evidence (including commissioning and managing research projects), duty to cooperate and providing evidence at examinations and hearings.
He also has considerable experience of issues involved in planning appeals and, therefore, can provide support and advice on matters relating to appeals and development management.
