Archie joined Place Services in August 2024 after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Horticulture from Writtle University College (now ARU Writtle). His studies focused on Arboriculture, soils and climates, environmental management, and plant physiology. Throughout his degree, Archie gained a firm understanding of the physiology of trees and surveying, enabling him to report on the health and safety, and condition of trees.

At Place Services, Archie is involved with proactive surveying, highway enquiries, school surveys, country parks and woodland surveys, report writing and working with Local Authority clients to assist with both Conservation Area and Tree Preservation Orders and applications.

Archie is currently continuing to develop his knowledge and skills within the industry and is looking to complete LANTRA’s Professional Tree Inspection course in the near future.
