Catherine graduated with an MPhil in Landscape Design from Newcastle University and has 36 years’ experience as a Chartered Landscape Architect. She also has an MA in Planning Policy and Practice from London South Bank University gained in 2015.
Catherine has a wide range of experience from the public and private sector including designing for play, developing green infrastructure and open spaces strategies, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Landscape Character Assessment, and presenting evidence at Public Inquiry and Examination in Public.
She was Regional Representative and Advisory Council Member for the Landscape Institute between 2014-2018 and 2020-2022
Her main role at Place Services is to provide landscape planning advice to clients on National Strategic Infrastructure Projects.
