Emily joined Place Services as an Assistant Built Heritage Consultant in June 2024. Her role is to support the built heritage team with project work delivery, and by providing heritage advice to local planning authority officers.

She has a deep appreciation of the challenges and complexities for managing development proposals that are of potential impact to the historic built environment, gained through her previous work as a Planning Officer for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils mainly working in the AONB.

Emily also benefits by an architectural background and has worked in the private sector for the attraction and leisure industry in collaboration with other construction professionals to design and deliver development projects.
