Hannah Coutts is a Consultant Ecologist at Place Services and has been working in the field of ecology since 2019. She has attained a wide range of skills in field surveys, project management, report writing, and data analysis across a variety of projects including rail, highway, infrastructure, nuclear, renewable, commercial, and residential.
Hannah is experienced in a number of ecological surveys including great crested newt, water vole, bat, otter, hazel dormouse, reptile, badger, Phase 1 Habitat, UK Habitat Classification, and condition assessments. She also has experience of Ecological Clerk of Works, and a variety of translocations including reptile, water vole, and great crested newt.
Hannah’s report writing skills include Preliminary Ecological Appraisal reports, BREEAM, Biodiversity Net Gain, Biodiversity Enhancement Plans, protected species reports, method statements, mitigation strategies, Construction and Ecological Management Plans, and Ecological Clerk of Works reports.
Hannah is a Qualifying Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and has attained a Natural England Great Crested Newt Level 1 Survey Class Licence”.
