Hannaya joined Place Services in September 2024 as an Assistant Ecological Consultant. Hannaya previously worked for the Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group South West (FWAGSW), after completing her BSc (Hons) in Ecology at the University of East Anglia, and MSc in Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security at the Royal Agricultural University.
During her time at FWAGSW, she supported farmers in adopting sustainable land management practices that enhance biodiversity and promote environmental stewardship.
Hannaya’s current role at Place Services involves supporting the team of ecologists by providing ecological advice to Local Planning Authority officers on planning applications for Essex County Council and its District and Borough partners.
