Following some years of working in various agencies and over 15 years at a well-known children’s book publisher as Senior Marketing and Production Designer, she decided that it was time for a change.
Wanting to gain new skills and knowledge, as well as having the wish to play a proactive part in contributing to a greener, more sustainable and inclusive world, she embarked on a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Writtle University College, completing the second year at the University of East London.
Originally from the Netherlands, she has a great passion for cycling as a mode of transport and is keenly aware of the value of a high-quality and inclusive active transport infrastructure. She has an avid interest in greening the urban environment and ensuring inclusive public space design, specifically focusing on women and children. Not having lost passion for bold and aesthetically exciting design, she hopes to be able to combine this with her new path as a Landscape Architect and make positive impacts on social and environmental levels in her role at Place Services.
