Kim is a Chartered Landscape Architect with 15 years’ experience in the landscape industry. She started working in Kent and London designing landscapes and private gardens. Followed by 10 years working for a multi-disciplinary environmental regeneration charity delivering public landscape improvements in deprived areas in the South East and East Anglian regions.
She has experience in delivering projects from the initial feasibility and concept stage, to community engagement, design, tender and contract management for a wide range of projects from simple tree planting projects to housing association improvement schemes, and onto skate parks, play areas and public parks. In this she has worked with a variety of clients, stakeholders and other professions.
Kim joined Place Services in 2021 and uses her knowledge of planting, materials and construction to inform landscape and green infrastructure planning advice to several Local Authority clients from pre-application submissions through to discharge of planning conditions. The variety of clients range from rural Mid Suffolk to the suburban and urban London Borough of Redbridge. She also provides advice at monthly design surgeries North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit.
